Seville Orange Marmalade, Kilner Jar | 410g

Made to the same recipe since 1989 this classically strong, rich, sharp and full flavoured Seville Orange Marmalade is one of the most popular of all Rosebud Preserves both savoury and sweet.

The organic bitter oranges in this powerfully fruity and bold preserve come from the Ave Maria orchard in Mairena del Alcor, Seville, Spain, from which we buy several tonnes each January to create the simplest of recipes.

Naturally set with the properties of fresh fruit, unrefined cane sugar and a little lemon juice alone, this marmalade will brighten any breakfast table on the most lacklustre of mornings.

“This looks great with its golden colour and shine and plenty of rind. There's lovely burnt orange on the nose. On the palate, it leads with toasty bitterness followed by more acidity and restrained sweetness, with a clean aftertaste. The main body of the marmalade had just the right set. The rind was great, too - the pieces were the right size and had been cooked just enough, being neither tough nor mushy”.
