We have captured the essence of an English Summer hedgerow conjured in the scent and taste of every sip.
Made locally in a traditional copper still using generous quantities of freshly gathered wild Elderflowers and blended with botanically rich handcrafted Gin to create distinctive character - the essence of an English Summer hedgerow.
A basic 'Hugo' recipe couldn't be easier to make.
Ingredients
50ml Rosebud Elderflower Gin Liqueur
Good quality dry prosecco
Sparkling water or soda
Fresh mint
Lime
Crushed ice
Large wineglasses or tall glass to serve
Method
Fill each glass with a handful of crushed ice and some torn mint leaves to taste (3 or 4).
Muddle the mint leaves to release the mint oil into the glass and add a few slices of lime.
Pour 50ml of Elderflower Gin Liqueur over the mint, ice and lime and add a dash of sparkling water.
Stir the mixture briefly then top with Prosecco.
If you are looking for something stronger you can add a shot of gin.
